you see this a lot in buddhism, too, also, when we get there. but that moves you along the path with equanimity so that you're not building up new karma - you're moving along the path, you're growing. and of course, through ultimately, through the various yoga practices, sometimes following a guru, devoting yourself to a guru, these are the kinds of things that release you from the cycle of birth and death, which is your ultimate goal. so we're collecting a lot of interesting answers, but not so far out, really, when you think about it, because they're grounded in identity and grounded in relationship. if you believe your soul is actually eternally one with god, with the divine, and because of maya or illusion or karma or whatever, you live in this dream of separate existence. then, quite naturally, through the various paths in teaching the sacred text over many millennia, you want to find ways out of that entrapment, or illusory entrapment, back into oneness - back into your state of oneness. i mean, there's just so many beautiful analogies. i

a priest decides he is going to show the powers of mystic buddhism and he appears and on the alter with different sorts ofornmen of owns and then progresses through profound things and all of these are tongue twisters but it's the first round of tongue twisters nothing happens and the priest is very upset and blushes extraordinary red and he tries again. the second time the chants are much shorter and he begins to lose his patience and again nothing happens. third time nothing happens and he basically says how much time to turn to the wonderrous powers of the lotus set raand he does chanting and the parody is something like if anyone is old enough to remember and the mouse before vatican two and you don't understand anything and it's mumbo jump bow and this is a parody of that. the second and third pieces before the intermission i will not introduce. i think the program notes are sufficient and rather than lecture i would much rather you enjoy the performance. the one thing i would like to emphasize about the first piece this is indeed a comic piece and in most instances westerners have

here in america, people are free to practice islam, christianity, buddhism, hinduism, aetheism, so long as it doesn't threaten this nation as a whole. we were told by the president there is no chance that any federal money would ever go for abortion. and some of our friends actually bought into that representation. turns out wasn't true. some of us tried to explain back then, you can't bind with an executive order what the law says specifically. it sets out requirements for health care providers, clinics, insurance policies and there are those that will provide abortions and ultimately there will be tax dollars since dollars are fungible that there are will be dollars used for abortions under obamacare. if obamacare is constitutional and the mandates in obamacare are constitutional, there is nothing the federal government cannot dictate. as i have said from here many times, this obamacare, 2,400 pages was about the g.r.e. it's what it's all about. this bill is about the gmple r.e., the government running everything, because if the government has the right to control everyone's health ca
