every morning we had a routine to hitch up the buells - - newels. began to want to prevent a runaway but she was a prom queen and did not like to work she is a very pretty head is is my favorite mule in the middle very affectionate. and this one over here is kind of crazy. this is that signal plus french is three abreast because to get more power out of them that way instead of in front of each other the secret to the trip i had it built myself i wanted the unassisted crossing nobody coming into my camps at night. and there were zero bidders who will take you on a pioneer wagon train you go ted miles every night when you get into camp there is the air-conditioned rv awaiting you. we did not do that. [laughter] so this is what made it possible for us to cross because i had 3,000 pounds of provisions which is mostly water and feed for the buells part of it is paved over i like that dynamic is very organic "this is it" eastern kansas the trail happened during world war i or with the cattle that were driven across the trail och are we had 2 million sold
