not just for san francisco, not just for the boating community, but for building treasure island and yerba bueno island. this is an expensive development and we're scurntly looking at 25% affordable housing. -- scurnt currently looking at 25% affordable housing. i'm not sure how much we'll be getting from the marina, but if we just continue debating for the next 10 years, we'll get nothing. and, yeah, there was painful gives from, i think both sides certainly some fourth graders being unable to participate. and a hundred slips also lost. some people have commented that this is not going to work anyway. i did a quick count of the waiting list over at south beach and it's well in, i think i would say 300 or so waiting list. some of them have been on that waiting list for years. i feel that this could prosper. and therefore, we all prosper including the sailing school. i have been told that the really nice, soft, windless water near the beach is still available. although it was seemingly made somebody mentioned that it's not. there might be some efforts that have to be going into that. s

as you heard me say a number of times on treasure island, history continues. not only the building of the bridges in the 1930s but in the last decade of the longest self anchored suspension span in the world. not only naval station treasure island but 150 years of military history to the continuing presence of the u.s. coast guard. not only the exhibition where visitors could see artists creating and continuing, sculptures creating here on treasure island. so history continues. so how will the treasure island museum present the history and heritage on the future of the island. we've had help figuring this out, the consultants have included gallagher and associates, an internationally recognized planning and design firm and march partners is working with us as the capital campaign council. before we could answer how are we going to do this, we have to ask ourselves who are we doing it for and with what out comes. what results do we want to have. let's answer the first two questions. we see four groups of stakeholders. the residents and the community and the out come will be greater

treasure island. at treasure island we have rubbpiled there and buildings to practice this, so mutual aid to do hazmat work there and rescue as well, those mutual aid companies practice going into the hot zone. they also timed out due to the lifetime radiation, they can no longer go in because of a lifetime dose of radiation. who comes in next? we practiced mutual aid from the national guard and from the california task force. three out of menlo park, and out of oakland, urban search and rescue. simulated collapsed buildings, they conducted rescues throughout the training facilities. so very large scale, involved many agencies from the federal side, department of energy, domestic nuclear detention office, f.b.i., law enforcement, fire, multiple fire departments from and the county and the region, and national guard as well. one of the components that came from the national guard was a medical component. so the 95th civil support team out of hayward, a w.m.d. for the national guard, a great partner with the fire service in the bay area the last 20, 30 years, medical component, and augment a medical sui
