the tory burch foundation is here, entrepreneurs out there. i could keep going on and on, is a legacy that i am quite proud of that we have been under president obama for leadership and with the first latest leadership as well for women and girls. i can't speak to what they will continue doing it another thought the people in the show nor going to continue it, something i will always do and work on. i think it is a kind of record of progress and are just held a group the other night that is, for movie on its own momentum that doesn't need the white house to keep going going, and m very confident about. >> i would add very quickly the president cares a lot about civic engagement as does the first lady and there's no doubt that will play a role in the future. they will take a vacation but one of the things he always says and i think he would say if you here, when you work for someone for 10 years, it's never been about him. it's never been about them. easy going to be out there leading the march? probably not, but easy-going, easy hoping people

thank you, politico, for involving the tory burch foundation in this event. we love being part of it. sometimes people ask me why this organization that empowers women doing this event in washington, entrepreneurs are scrappy and they know how to do more with less, not unlike women in government. in fact politicians, government employees, the best qualities to be entrepreneurial. when i took this job, i expected the systematic impediment to women in business such as the difficulty of getting capital. one in $23 in business loans goes to a woman. that is women starting businesses at the same rate as men. what took me by surprise was the behavioral stereotype that prevents women from growing their businesses. that fact motivated a campaign to encourage women to embrace ambition. when a woman is labeled ambitious, there are still people who think that is a negative comment. if we were fortunate enough to be told ambition was a good thing chances are we were also told to not let it show so much. our goal is for women in all walks of life to embrace ambition, to s
