a tornado also confirmed in burkes county. >> ef-0 which is the lowest rated tornado you can get. both did leave some damage behind. particularly in sussex county. we were able to get that warning out on air as soon as it popped up during the 6:00 p.m. newscast yesterday. 86 degrees in philadelphia and 85 in wilmington. and 82 in potstown. while temperatures may not seem that much different from what we saw yesterday, it feels way different than yesterday. we had no rain. just had some scattered clouds and a lot of sunshine outside and the big difference was when that cold front swept on off the shore, well, we also saw the humidity drop. as a result, today was not sticky, steamy. instead, it felt pretty nice outsi outside. even with those 80 degree temperatures. tomorrow looking at a repeat. warm and mostly dry forecast. as we get into your thursday, an increase in humidity, but it's friday and saturday where we may see more storms, particularly saturday an interesting one because it could be from tropical storm cindy, which is way down in the caribbean right now. we'll talk more

jason burke, good morning. >> reporter: good morning.ad day for the tech sector or with the nasdaq losing over 100 points, the worst session for the nasdaq in a year. we are looking at another loss like that. apple stock fell 4% friday. it's down about 4% this morning. there are reports that the iphone 8 could have data download supply issues because of modem constraints on the other big issue is that these companies like apple, google and amazon and netflix have seen stocks hit record highs in 2017 and apple is up 30% since the beginning of the year with a lot of profit-taking going on as the market continues going higher. uber has reached the top of the mountain for the private tech startups. the valuation is north of $60 billion. 2017 was a rough year for uber. there are reports that the co, travis kalanick, may take a leave of absence. there are accusations mounting that led to the recent firing of 20 oh brees employees. the google self-driving car business, they say brees stole trade secrets. it was a rough time for travis kalanick.
