(mark) burlingame police have recoved hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of stolen merchandise... 230- thousand dollars worth of antique persian rugs were stolen from his shop this week. these are some of the rugs that were recovered. police say 55-year-old john edward reed was arrested during a traffic stop in san mateo. he is accused of stealing those rugs. police say a few of the rugs are still missing this morning. (darya) a teenage girl will spend more than two years behind bars after encouraging her boyfriend to commit suicide. michelle carter was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter... after sending text messages to conrad roy encouraging him to kill himself. the two were dating, and both of them suffered from depression. roy was found dead in his pickup truck. he killed himself. after the sentencing was announced, the judge ruled carter can stay out of prison while her case is appealed. some of the victim's family members were upset by the judge's decision.
