oa deceased vietnam veteran in a very special presentation tonight. 90 year old joyce de soto of burlingame was presented with an american flag. it was flown over the us capitol in her late husband's honor. colonel ernest leo de soto was laid to rest in june. his remains were found 54 years after he died in a plane crash while serving in vietnam. congressman mullin said he asked for the flag to be flown after hearing the family's story. one of the quotes from joyce in the story will stay with me forever. she said. i thought i'd have to wait until i die and go to heaven and say, what happened? well, joyce didn't have to die to find out. in fact, she just celebrated her 90th birthday and finally has some closure. ernest leo de soto was buried at the golden gate national cemetery in full uniform in a casket from pearl harbor. joyce de soto told the san mateo daily journal her husband loved what he did and aspired to become a college professor. after his military career was over. the former san francisco giant great buster posey set to go back to school to finish his degree from florida state u
