"action news" reporter annie mccormick is live in hainesport burlington county.ou spoke to the church 's pastor. >> reporter: matt, that's right and right away i want to take you to where the bulk of the damage seems to be on this historic church that was built in 1811. at least the main portion of the building was. you can see up there a ladder truck is still there and firefighters are still pouring water on the building from both the back and the front of the home. at this hour no word from fire officials if this is under control yet at this point but we continue to see smoke rising from this building. well, take a look at this video. this is some viewer video right after the fire broke out. it broke out around 3:15 a.m. the pastor who lives here tells us that he actually smelled smoke and that is what urged him to wake up and to walk over and call 911 and that's when he saw flames. now, there are two pastors that both live on the premises with their families. it appears that the bulk of the damage is in the offices of the church. this is easton bible church an

"action news" reporter annie mccormick is live in hainesport burlington county where firefighters are trying to save that church which has been on fire. good morning. >> reporter: good morning tam and the good news is is that there are two families that live on the premises that are safe and okay this morning. we just spoke to one of the associate pastors of easton bible church. he tells us that that building right there in the center of all this has actually been here since 1811. it is one of burlington county's most historic buildings and you can see the bulk of the damage now to that building there primarily on the roof area. as you can see ladder trucks are still pouring water on top of it. well, take a look at this video. this is viewer video taken moments after the fire broke out just after 3:00 this morning. you can see that thick smoke. now, according to the associate pastor he tells us that he was actually up late watching tv, he couldn't sleep and that's when he heard noises and then he saw the flames at the door next to his home. now, he says that this is all in the center,
