in burlington and vermont you're looking at a huge impact. there are heat alerts, watches, warning.. we have an area of high pressure parked over it. we have a heat warning that includes phoenix and palm springs as well. the temperatures will stay into the triple digits through sunday. that's where it gets especially dangerous. taking a look at some of the numbers, we're looking at the sorely flow. triple digits in las vegas, palm springs, tucson. roswell, you're looking at 103. that's going to be the case as we go through tomorrow once again. temperatures once again soaring into the triple digits in tucson, yuma. 107 in las vegas tomorrow. that's three degrees which is above typical and warm for portions of texas and new mexico. that's going to aid some storms today in portions of the southern plains. but take a look at the numbers as we go throughout friday. las vegas, no relief there. 102, 115 in phoenix. as we go throughout the week, we're looking at severe storms. we could see some really gusty winds and also the chance of a few tornadoes. back to you. >> stay dry and stay cool

flood watches are up extending to places like burlington, new york city, philadelphia, washington, d.c., and down towards norfolk. we're going to continue to see some of the heavy rains with this system through your sunday. this is an afternoon kind of activity for parts of new york extending down into the mid-atlantic. the system will eventually start to work its way offshore but slow to do that. once it does, it will finally take most of the rain out of the mid-atlantic but lingering for parts of new england here as we get into tomorrow. so be prepared. you're not going to be able to put that umbrella away just yet. you'll have to keep it through your monday, too. look at your rainfall totals. no surprise we're concerned for flooding in this area. we have likely widespread amounts of 1 to 4 inches, but we could see localized amounts up to 5 inches for places extending into new england and the northeast. joe, it is going to be a soggy one for folks across that area. >> looks like it. angie, thanks so much. we'll see you again in a few minutes for our "sunday focus" on the extreme heat

tjx which i like had 3% same-store sales and burlington was red hot, 4%.e close to this company. now, in terms of new stores savers has been expanding its footprint, not growing like crazy, 294 stores in 2020 and 317 at the end of the first quarter despite the expansion, net sales growth slowed to 3.7% in the two-month period that ended up may 27th. that's -- i don't like that deceleration what about prochtability savers lost 63.5 million in 2020 but then in 2021 their net income came in at $83.4 million. although it stagnated. only 1.4% up last year this is one of the things i'm concerned about but get this, worse, they had a net loss of 10.2 million in the first quarter. although savers also said their net income was back in solid, positive territory for april and may so this may be historical but i didn't like it still down year over year. that said when you drill down to the earnings for interest tax, depreciation and amortization it got much better numbers. on the other hand the free cash flow is back in negative territory. i don't like that. it's not
