believe it or not, what facebook did to contribute to the humanitarian disaster in what we know as burma where hundreds of people died, the united nations said that facebook contributed to the genocide, it almost doesn't sound believable, but to the genocide in that part of the world. but now after scandal after scandal, mr. president, facebook expects americans to trust them -- to trust them with their hard-earned paychecks.

have someone appointed through the icc to investigate and to gather and to keep the information in burma with rohingya refugees, which is so vitally important. and i feel very confident in knowing when we have an american, and we can show that there is greater transparency, which provides accountability and obviously more effectiveness, that throughout the u.n. system -- and this is an issue i will bring up with secretary gutierrez. we are underrepresented. i understand that with the percentage of our contribution level, we're nowhere near having the americans in the system. and if we need to be very cognitive of the fact china is placing their individuals being hired throughout the system, and that is a real issue, my -- >> clearly you understand my concern. >> yes, i do. >> and that thee matekly is very much linked to my concern about the u.s. withdrawal from certain u.n. organizations that is coinciding with chinese expansion in the multi lateral fora. i don't disagree with withdrawal from the human rights council. there's only so long you can remain a member of that organization when
