the burn surgeons came in. we had aint flux of staff willing to helpm we set up the burn unit for the patients arriving. it was very controlled. the scene was very calm. >> reporter: the four patients at st. francis were transferred to this hospital this morning came from keizer south, that's where many people were brought in the aftermath of the fire. a total of 15 people brought to keizer in south san francisco. of that 15, four as we mentioned were transferred to st. francis' burn center, nine treated and released. two receiving treatment at keizer. five patients were taken to san francisco general hospital. four are in critical condition there. one was treated and released. that puts us at total of 7 people still in critical condition at the two san francisco hospitals. still recovering from the smoke unhalllation and burn injuries -- inhalation and burn injuries they suffered from in last night's fire. later this morning, st. francis plans to have a press conference where we will hear directly from the phy

the tolls what burns that suffered? well the role transferred from other emergency departments and san mateo county where the teams there felt their birds were not eligible at the special burn center. it was not specific enough to require treatment in a burn center. >> the fact that you've therefore, are you taking all of the critically burned victims? so, would there be other hospitals or the baby up for you are? >> i understand it transferred some of them to san francisco general hospital but i would ask you to confirm with them. we are open to receive burn patients under any circumstances and the police were able to assist in this manner. >> the people with the birds, would you consider their conditions critical because of this? is it serious? for what. >> one person has a serious injury and a stable and three of the persons are critically injured and are stable at this time. >> ok. all right, is there anything else that you over at st. francis me? we've been talking a lot about the fact that the red cross really wan
