let's bring you up to date what's going down here on nannie helen burrows and minnesota avenue. you can see the bus over at the far end of the gas station. that is where the person who is believed to have car jacked or hijacked this bus struck a pedestrian here at the gas station. that pedestrian was killed on impact. if you look over to the left, you can see the chief, representatives of metro transit police as well as the investigation under way. this went down about 10:30 from here. not far from here a man got around the bus. he lingered around the driver. he eventually attacked the driver with some kind of web, possibly a screwdriver or pliers. the driver fled the bus. the man, the suspect here took off with the bus, drove it here where he boarded the bus and then drove up into the gas station. that is where he struck this pedestrian fatally. the suspect was taken into custody. he was described as very agitated, very angry. we believe he was also taken to the hospital. the very latest here in northeast d.c., one person killed, suspect in custody after allegedly car jacking o
