i know this because i'm a commercial realtor i'm in the business of businesses and commercial leases. year san francisco lost 300 restaurants. it will lose more this year. just on my way here i counted seven restaurants in the castro and upper market within the last nine months, that have gone out of business, are up for sale and two have been completely abandoned. so it follows to me, i think the city of san francisco and this commission particularly should embrace new innovative retail concepts and do whatever they can to lower the barriers to entering the marketplace because it's currently prohibitively expensive. it's in this context that cannabis legalization comes to us as a bit of a blessing and lo and behold despite some protests i think our dispensaries have proven to be great community partners and have brought wealth to the city coffers and communities. i've known terrance for 15 years. i echo everything that's been said in the last few minutes about terrance. i have no doubt that he will be a responsible operator. he's proven it so far already as an owner operator of cafe
