david collins is live at bwi thurgood marshall airport with the details. >> according to federal court documents, someone in the philippines said dresses to a west baltimore address. they were decorated with large buttons filled with heroin. heroin smugglers with ties to baltimore city airmail a package of eight dresses from manila in the philippines last week. this house in west baltimore is the address on the parcel. court papers indicate mark harrison lives there. the package was intercepted last week by u.s. customs and border patrol agents in cincinnati ohio. court documents do not reveal why it was tagged as suspicious. they were decorated with large buttons. agents discovered 650 grams of heroin inside the buttons with the street value of $50,000. although a novel approach, it has been tried before. this customs botha was taken in 2004 after a similar smuggling attempt in australia -- this customs photo was taken in 2004. an undercover agent made a controlled delivery to the west baltimore row house. the package was supposed to go to mark harrison. state records reveal he does n

we do have access to bwi's terminal doppler. the image clearly shows the hook echo from 1:33 a.m., and you can see the precipitation in this thunderstorm being wrapped around that funnel cloud. there is that distinct little hook you see right there moving into baltimore county. a well-defined hook echo at 1:33 a.m. wednesday, that is when warnings were issued. damage does indicate that it was a tornado, officially touching down at one of 35 -- 1 :35. it was less than half a mile long. there was additional damage from straight line winds from the thunderstorm in the area. it was on the ground for a short time, but they estimate that wins were 100 miles an hour. that can do some damage. again, a confirmed tornado at 1:35 on wednesday morning. >> sheldon is live from the scene of possibly the worst scenario. >> cleanup is underway in this area, but there are still some bigger branches scattered all over the apartment complex. take a look at some of the extensive damage that was done to some of the buildings. some like this one have

bwi marshall, 63 degrees. take a look at the current temperatures.t was not as cool as it was yesterday morning at this time. big difference, dramatic difference, 47 degrees right now in washington. 46 in baltimore. manassas is at 45. gaithersburg is the cold spot at 39 degrees. sometimes we have questions about that temperature. 50 in culpeper at this hour. here is a look at the satellite- radar composite. now, things look very similar to the way they looked yesterday. area of low pressure has pulled out a little bit but it is still up there across portions of new england, still got that spin in the atmosphere. not as much precipitation this morning as we were seeing yesterday morning at this time and we are not seeing any snow. it is all rain. we do see the spin and you do get the clouds filtering in. i think for us, this will be an occasional cloud or two coming through here. we'll see mostly sunny conditions but as long as that low is there, we'll still get some winds. i think there will be periods where it is breezy and i don't think it will be

it was 28 degrees this morning at bwi marshall. humidity will be running in the 20% range through the afternoon. it was 8 degrees below normal. but the afternoon high was 8 degrees above normal. it was 66 degrees. it kind of balances out, but it does make for some pretty interesting weather. it is like living in the desert with these huge sterger swings. -- huge temperature swings. temperatures are dropping now. in the past two hours, it has dropped 14 degrees. that is the rapid temperature drop you see here during these current conditions. 46 degrees in cambridge and saul saberi is mardy into the 40's. you can see -- and salisbury is already into the 40's. you can see everybody in between is crystal clear. look for lows tonight to drop into the 20's. it will stay into the 40's near downtown. there is lots of mulled whether. the front door west will inch in our direction and may bring a couple of scattered showers into the western maryland mountains in the weekend. but for our region, we will not expect range until next week. tides
