heading into october, believe it or not. 46 right now in oakland. 59 in elkin. 65 on the shore. 68 at bwi marshall. 55 in westminster and 58 in bel air. 60 in columbia. 59 the number in rock hall. what you are seeing here is a bit of a north and northeasterly flow still around high pressure that's up around new england. flow bringing in that clockwise air mass right around that high, and that high is going to continue to bring that in as we move into the next few days. that's why we have not been able to break the clouds. we have another low pressure system, a pretty strong coastal low that's down around the carolinas. it's also bringing in that easterly flow and that's all contributing to the moisture that's creating the cloud deck, the cloud cover that we have had over the last several days. what we're going to have is a front moving in from the west. the low from canada drags this front front. it breaks apart as it starts to move on in. what we'll see is a chance, a very slight chance of a shower. but mostly attributed to the low off the coast. that will be into monday. sunday night in

our weather has not been bad and it'sbeen great and this morning not bad. 63 degrees at bwi.dew points okay. right now tolerable and southwesterly wind at around 5. central maryland numbers from 67 in baltimore and going to the north and west, 55 in woodbine, and 59 in cockeysville. # 6 in chestertown. some-- 66 in chestertown. some areas are comfortably mild. southwesterly wind flow at 5 to 10 is bringing in the warm feel and on maryland's most powerful weather radar scattered showers over northern carroll county. we go into around 7:15, 7:30 and the showers will work back into the western suburbs. by later this morning into the afternoon early afternoon, we will address the idea of a couple scattered showers out there. so they are in the forecast. not a washout but showers are part of the theme to the weather forecast. you notice the cold front on top from the north and west blowing through here and again the forecast will reflect the clouds and showers. low 70s are a good number. we will forecast around 72-73 and then by tuesday, high pressure builds in and it's going feel

. >> a cool fall day, just 67 degrees at bwi marshall. the inner harbor at 69.it's the first time that's happened since may the 25th. high is 98. record around the region right now, you are starting to cool off into the mid-60s. gettysburg and stewards town in the mid-60s. a cool 63 in cambridge. the skies are clear from the beach through baltimore. it's going to be cool overnight with her skies. temperatures probably going to reach the upper 30s and 40s to around 50 in downtown baltimore. advisory extending into garrett county and southwestern pennsylvania. frost could develop under this high-pressure which is not only bringing this into baltimore but all the way across new england. it is carving out a large chunk of the nation. some unsettled stuff, but nothing big going on. the hurricane center is keeping an eye on it. it doesn't look like it's going to develop. certainly worth watching to see if anything does pop up. don't expect anything to pop up as far as precipitation goes. other than that, it is smooth sailing. 69 to 74. light breezes on the bay. water

right now temperatures getting up to 58 degrees at bwi marshall. up to the mid-70s.he normal high some 74. and the low is 53. so company that in perspective looking at the temperatures. 83% humidity. the north wind at 3 miles per hour. high pressure in control of the forecast is responsible for bringing the wind in from the north. that in a second. here are the winds coming in from the north and northeast. around high pressure around the gulf of mexico we are seeing the flow from the north. and low pressure off of the coast getting flow from the east. this is the culprit with the clouds. this low pressure system is persistent and it is pushing in moisture. we're not getting the rain associated with it, but the moisture from the ocean is contributing to the cloud cover. the next chance of rain will come tomorrow afternoon and monday. this low to the west is moving across the dakotas and lift into canada. the front will move across the country. two things will happen, no moisture and drop our temperatures back technical monday. and help with the low off of the coast. w
