heading into october, believe it or not. 46 right now in oakland. 59 in elkin. 65 on the shore. 68 at bwi marshall. 55 in westminster and 58 in bel air. 60 in columbia. 59 the number in rock hall. what you are seeing here is a bit of a north and northeasterly flow still around high pressure that's up around new england. flow bringing in that clockwise air mass right around that high, and that high is going to continue to bring that in as we move into the next few days. that's why we have not been able to break the clouds. we have another low pressure system, a pretty strong coastal low that's down around the carolinas. it's also bringing in that easterly flow and that's all contributing to the moisture that's creating the cloud deck, the cloud cover that we have had over the last several days. what we're going to have is a front moving in from the west. the low from canada drags this front front. it breaks apart as it starts to move on in. what we'll see is a chance, a very slight chance of a shower. but mostly attributed to the low off the coast. that will be into monday. sunday night in
