it is 20 five in quantico, looking at 26 in annapolis. 19 in gaithersburg, 23 at bwi marshall.ff to the north and west of us. in western pennsylvania and ohio, temperatures are in the teens -- teens. these wind chills will leave as we move through the overnight hours and into the day tomorrow. high-pressure settles in, skies clear nicely. lake-effect snow to the north of us. this pressure will slowly move off the coast. wind will change direction for the day on monday. that is going to allow for some slightly milder temperatures. we are talking upper 30s around 40. since we are not going to have the wind, we will not have those nasty wind chills. something is brewing for tuesday and wednesday. a winter storm watch for western pennsylvania. for those of you who may be driving, this is the area that could see measurable amounts of snow as soon as tuesday afternoon into early wednesday. this is our hour by hour forecast. the computer model shows it will remain dry. temperatures in the upper 30's to around 40. as we move into tuesday, look what happens. all this moisture converges

we're in the 50s down to 95 corridor. 51 in elkton, 50 at bwi thurgood marshall. that's a drop since last hour. 53 on the shore. the immediate metro area the range is in that low to mid-50 range. 54 is the number in rock hall, kent island and annapolis this morning. right now the wind are calm around much of the state, just a bit of a variable direction where they are blowing. a southeast wind in hagerstown, due west in oakland and a northwest wind towards patuxent river, same direction in ocean city, and we're going to be seeing our temperatures a little warmer than our neighbor's for the most part today. we're at 50, boston at a a 2. the eastern seaboard is in that 50s range. cooler temperatures towards detroit and chicago and kansas city. that's the air moving in our general direction. the front that brought us rain yesterday is well offshore pushing to the south and the east. we have a bit of a low pressure system around the great lakes and the little bit of a trough, the little dip this the jet stream that's associated with that is going to be responsible wit

that includes bwi marshall. rock hall is 52. and 57 bel air. that is locally the warm spot. winds are generally speaking on the calm side to the light side but eventually we'll see the winds continue to shift out of the south and east. that is going to help to filter in warmer air throughout the day today. and we'll continue to see warmer air being pooled into the region even as we head into tomorrow and thursday. visible satellite showing a lot of clouds but we'll see a few peaks of sunshine as we head into the afternoon. those clouds associated with an area of low pressure located in the tennessee valley. that is not going to bring us any rainfall the next couple of days. we're talking about today and wednesday but will into thursday, in the frorm of drizzle in the morning and off and on chances on thursday for rainfall. we'll see from a 10th inch to quarter inch of rainfall as we head into thursday. then we'll cool down behind that cold front for the weekend. your bay temperatures, 57 now, winds out of the southeast at 5 to 10 knots on the bay. for the rest of the day, 57
