here is meteorologist ivan cabrera. >> good morning. you think rain would be good for california. draught. where we have the burn scars, it will bring the potential for mudslides. we have two systems bringing significant rain. the first on wednesday. already tomorrow raining and heavily at times. we get a break through thursday, but thursday night and into friday, we have yet another one with more rain. by the time all is said and done, we could look at 4 to 6 inches over the burn area. again, good for the fires, but the problem is the mudslide threat will increase as we head through the next several days. out east, we have a weak system, but enough to issue winter weather advisories with the purple color there. it stays to the northwest of boston. you get to new hampshire and maine and you see 2 to 4 inches. that is happening today and tonight. we clear this out and in the wake of it we have the coldest air mass of the season. these are windchills because the winds are gusty. by the time we get to new york, single digit windchills for thursday and into black friday. bundle up. gu
