it is our own tradition to report from cacia's every thanksgiving. happy thanksgiving. >> reporter: it smells like freshly bake bread in here at cacia's but baking of the bread is over. we're talking turkeys. joey cacia has been doing this a long time ever since you could walk and talk you have been helping out with the family. it is a tradition for you guys. >> every year so far i can remember back when i could not even reach the brick oven when i had to go like this to the turkey, i could not reach. >> reporter: you guys are gearing up for another big year, the the table are set, numbers ready to go. what do people need to know when i don't want to cook my turkey, i want you to do it what do they need to know. >> basically all you have to do is basically drop it off. we give you a number. you come back later on in the afternoon and they will all be laying out ready to be taken back. >> reporter: is there a better pan then another. i see last year some were disposable pans, some were sturdy, what is the best. >> just a a nice sturdy metal pan. the a

cacia's family they do it for hundreds of people. over a hundred people is how they can fit into this brick oven. this is danielle cacia, daughter of the owner here. she comes out every year. you see he how long the lines are. what sit like to be part of it. >> i like this day better than christmas and easter a then any other holiday because my entire family is here. we have been carrying this tradition for five decade that my grandfather started. we have fun doing it. >> reporter: you guys are known for your bread, and then you got into this turkey thing. how does that start five decade ago. >> my grandfather and his brother lewis wanted to make extra money around the the holidays. so they came up, the first year they started with ten turkies and we tagged them with titanium tags. first year wasn't perfect. they wrote on the tag with crayons so they had tleroub figuring out whose turkey belonged to who. >> reporter: it is a learning process that you have perfected over the years. at one point i heard you cooked 130 to 140 bird here

cacia's bakery, already up, it is a thanksgiving tradition in south philadelphia. it's a cold start to the morning temperatures, mainly in the 30 throughout town and we are going to warm into the 60s as we head into the rest of today. definitely bring a jacket if you have to run out and dprab anything or anyone. our temperatures are at 32 degrees in reading. 27 in coatesville. 30 degrees in allentown, the high 30s in philadelphia. 33 in wilmington, our temperatures in northeast philly at 34 degrees, closer to the shore, our temperatures are starting to push into the mid-40s. 46 degrees in beach haven, 39 currently in dover. temperatures will push into the low 60s. 51 degrees in the poconos. we're expecting milder conditions. yesterday we stayed in the 50. today we stay in the low 60s. as we push into friday, we will warm into the mid to high 60s. so that's unseasonably warm for us. i am tracking cooler conditions and a chance of showers, as we push into the weekend. i'll go over the details in my 7-day forecast. >> thank you. now check the roads in case you have to
