we should hear from caesars at 6 a-m. we have been out here all night as guests returned to their hotel rooms. it was pretty chaotic last night, with many guests demanding answers about when the power would be restored and when they could get their stuff. thursday morning, a construction crew accidently hit a main power basement, cutting power to the entire casino. the power went black just before 10 o'clock. a full evacuation of the property was ordered at noon after the generators failed to kick in. 3,000 people were displaced from the 29 hundred rooms at the resort. no one went to the hospital but some guests were pretty shaken up, trapped in the elevators.
