they do not always stoop to eat in the cafeteria the way the rest of the hoi polloi up there do, but you do see them around the court building and they are very pleasant. and i think that are very pleasant with each other. sometimes, when you watch them on the bench, you begin to wonder how pleasant it is going to be when they get back behind the curtains and start talking about it, because they are at each other's -- not quite at each other's throats, but they're certainly actively taking apart each other's arguments as the court lawyer sits there, hoping to get a word in edgewise. but it is a happy place cost of the time. with the isolation you experience there -- that is something i think a lot of reporters who have come to the court do not realize, how isolated it is. becauue it is not a political institution. it does not function that way. they do not hold press conferences, although sometimes i wish they would. it is in fact a very remote kind of place and it is easy to become a part of it. and if there is any risk, i think, that a reporter has, in covering the court for many y

people i sppnt some time with in these stories are college girls and basically walked around the cafeteriaf a big state school and talked to girls and it was so different than the way we talked about our futures when i was in college. it was so different. basically to a person these women assumed they would be taking care of their husbands and they were going to make more money. they were going to be a surgeon, working all the time and the men were going to be staying home and -- they had a sense of their husband as almost an extra child. i certainly thought i'm going to work. doesn't mean they are going to be that way. because they don't know anything. i have three children and now i know what it's like to balance life and children. but it's interesting to note what their imagination of their future is like and mine was an equality model. we works, we raise our children together an we're happy. even without a husband in the picture if you had asked me a general notion of my future life. host: is the term coed used anymore? guest: i don't know. i did ask them about dating life and what it

we are bringing locally grown products to our school cafeterias. this makes nutritional products available to children, creates and in corm -- creates an income source for growers, and create a connection between the community and the children. we must expand broadband access, the modern day equivalent of an fdr program. we must capitalize on outdoor recreation. there is a booming wine industry centered write down the road. rural communities need a diverse economic options to retain residents. i think about my experience growing up in rural missouri. one of my first jobs was on a hay hauling crew. i thought i was making big money. 3¢ a bale for these small square bales. one of my first lessons was how to stack the hay bales of and the wagon. the first stack i did, we did not have the foundation laid correctly, and i got up on top of that stack of hay and fell off. you only have to do that once before you learn to stack it right. i think it is important that we lay the base, continue to build on a strong foundation in this country. thank you for bei
