. >> let's get to caitlin roth with a look at what's next for this storm.tlin. >> thankfully marina and shawn harvey is moving out of the gulf coast. obviously the ramifications will go on for weeks and months but as for where harvey is right now the center of circulation over central mississippi and radar shows the sprawling rain bands out into the carolinas, extreme southern virginia at this hour. there's the center of harvey still swirling about with heavy rain across memphis, places like western tennessee and extreme eastern arkansas seeing up to 7-inches of rain before tonight is over. now, harvey has picked up speed now that it's hit land mass and has picked up by the currents of the atmosphere. moving at 20 miles an hour to the north and east. that center of circulation will be just west of us by midday saturday and then it will transfer its energy onto several rounds of rain as we go from friday night through the day on saturday. so, like i said exceeding 7-inches in some parts of the tennessee valley when it comes to rainfall but luckily moving out

if they want that. >> so caitlin, the calculation for republican senator thom tillis, in his attempto protect mueller and future special counsels, what's behind that? >> well, you've seen long concern from republicans on capitol hill about the idea of the president firing robert mueller and everything we saw with the jeff sessions and his wanting to at least, tli his expression, shut this investigation down. so republicans, it's really interesting. you're starting to see them start to not only raise concerns, but look at ways to protect mueller, which is really interesting here. over the past week, we have seen republicans on capitol hill really in defiance of this president. remember, passing those russia sanctions in both the house and the senate, tying the president's hands on this, which essentially forces him to sign that bill. you also have heard lots of different kinds of concerns coming from republicans about the president. and what was really telling to me is that the president was in west virginia and giving a speech and really stayed on script, talking about accusing the r
