we spoke with the cajun navy in louisiana and we're getting updates throughout the day. the most recent one is when they arrived at 7:00 this morning, a lot of the flood water had actually receded from the area and folks who were trapped in their homes were able to walk out. others did actually need a rescue by a high water vehicle. we captured some of that video today of people being escorted by the national guard and cajun navy from their home to dry land. certainly people that live there are terrified by the ordeal they just experienced. there's been one confirmed death from prairieville, when a tree toppled and hit a man's house. 60 years old. the governor of the state, john bel edwards, says he is expecting the death toll to rise. there are 1,600 search and rescue crews out right now going through the neighborhoods by ground and air to see if there's anyone else that may be stranded or perhaps was not able to escape. we're following that very closely. this is an evolving situation and a power struggle right now in terms of trying to get power restored. it seems like
