we didn't know what nor cal really could mean to a district, to a city, and we had no clue what type of competition we would see out there. but the girls brought everything. they brought 100% to all their games, three games against amazing teams in five days, and then bringing also their mental toughness into these games after long bus rides coming out and within an hour being ready to play, ready to put their all on the field. so more than anything, i'm thankful to all of you but also mostly to all of my girls here, all the amazing players who have worked so hard both this season and for many of them in past seasons to bring us to where we are today, to bring us to a championship in nor cal and to make such a team that is not only strong on the field but also that has become a great second home to me and many of the seniors over the past four years. so thank you, everyone, and i look forward to seeing you guys axe sell ihe -- excelin the fut. >> while the superintendent is giving you certificates, i wanted to rattle of your names and congratulate you one more time. as parents of kid

in the last hour i did speak with cal fire. they tell us the grant fires, these fires out here, are now going to be 75 to 80% contained. official update expected at 8:00 this morning. cal fire still has four engines out here in byron and surrounding areas. you can see firefighters monitoring pile of grass and wood debris burning off byron highw highway. the huge concern is the winds. national weather expecting gusts to hit 40 miles an hour. east contra costa fire protection district according to cal fire going to be sending out two water tenders to keep them contained. first started north of altamont pass, a few miles south of where we're at. it then spread to six other locations for a total of seven fires that burned down one home in byron and scorched around 500 acres. cal fire trying to figure out the cause of that initial fire. they will be looking into whether or not wind carried embers that ignited the other location. >> this is really bad. for the farmers out here, this is really dangerous. >> cal fire expects to be out

what we are finding is that people will get on med-cal and then they have to renew their med-cal and at times there is some gap between that period of time when they get renewed and one of the things we found is that individuals have to present an income tax form in order to show the ability to renew their medical as an example. so one we try to keep people out of the emergency rooms by having everybody have medical homes but there may be a gap there in terms of charity verses being able to -- and how far we can go back to medical if this person is not -- has lost their med-cal access because of the renewal process. so we are working closely with hsh to include -- i mean, with hsa, which is the med-cal renewer for us to see if we can eliminate this requirement of an income tax form for some individuals as a way to maintain them on med-cal for five years because we can't do that. we are working on that part. that's a little bit of insight that we've learned from really digging into why cannot particularly homeless individuals keep their med-cal for a period of time.folks, so are seein
