cal osha is seeing a 30% increase in complaint this is year from workers who say their employers areot doing enough to protect them from covid-19. candace has gone through the data. she found which industries are parking concern for workers and the public. >> reporter: businesses across california are sending their complaints here in the east bay. most of those safety concerns are coming from our health care industry, but workers from retail, transportation and food services are also sounding the awill remember on covid illnesses and deaths where they work. from servers to stylists, from teachers to technicians, california is heading back to work even as health experts question at what cost to safety? >> we're coming to work and we're being exposed to covid positive patients. >> reporter: staff reported the covid-19 outbreak in june. 37 staff members tested positive, most of them nurses. >> we noticed a lot of people are calling in sick and suddenly we were becoming very short staffed. >> we worked with the county health department to put new measures in place to prevent another clus
