state university in california is going up. the increase is being caused by something they are calling a student success feel. by the fall 11-23 cal state university campuses will be charging students that fee. the money will be used for equipment, student services and improvement projects. san jose state university by the way is the second most expensive school. fees and tuition totals more than $7,300 a year. >>> scientists with the u.s. geological survey seen a chap rise in small earthquakes -- in sharp rise in small earthquakes where fracking is taking place. several studies shown water forced deep underground can trigger seismic activity. college students are dismayed to hear despite tuition freezes in place, cal state and uy schools will raise other flu fees. state universities are raising fees to pay if everything including health services and laboratory equipment. we san jose will raise fees to $2,000 a year. uc berkeley become will vote on technology fee of $102. in the fall, 11 the of 23, cfu campuses cover a student success fee including faculty salary and classes. >> a growing percentage of americans gained health insurance as sign up season ended for the health care law. the well-being index finds the share of adults without health insurance dropped from 17.1 percent last year to 15.6 percent for the first quarter of this year translating to 3.5 million new people getting health insurance. the trend accelerated as the deadline came and went a week ago. >>> we wish lee well >> you know when the time is right and it is right, right now. we only have our kids for so many years. saturday and sunday is, really, when a lot of life happens and it has been great. bay area, you have just embraced me, the station has embraced me and i do appreciate that. i do.
