the cal trans freeway signs are it will up with information on this amber alert. and information on the car you should be on the lookout for. last night let me show you video police released. it's surveillance video of the suspected kidnapper in this case. it was taken inside the safeway store on redwood road near highway 13 where this all took place yesterday. police say the man was shoplifting beforehand and was armed with a knife. and witnesses say he then ran from the store, jumped into a parked car with an elderly man and teenage girl inside and that car sped off from the parking lot. witnesses told police it was clear the man and girl were in trouble. >> we also have information reported to us by witnesses that the occupants of that vehicle did not know the suspects. >> reporter: the suspected kidnapper they are looking for is a black man likely in his 40s. he is about 5'7" tall and about 165 pounds. now a description on the car. investigators believe that man and his two potential kidnapping victims are in a red sedan with california plates on it. 6jfm648.
