it happened on calaveras road in milpitas. once at the scene firefighters used rescue glides...lastic used to slide a large animal along a rough surface... to remove the horse safely from the drainage ditch. rescuers say the horse only suffered a few scrapes. ( robin ) happening today... p-g-and-e crews will be back at work in santa rosa installing underground electric and gas lines in coffey park. the work began yesterday morning. we showed it to you live right here on the kron 4 morning news. p-g-and-e is working with the city to replace all of the cables and transformers destroyed during the north bay firestorm. the will be installing 13 miles of electric cable and 15 miles of new gas mains and service lines. city officials say there is still a long way to go in the rebuilding process... but they are happy with the progress so far. ( robin ) p-g-and-e's project is just one part of the rebuilding process. no word on how long it will take them to finish
