california. in the short term with those intermittent showers, temperatures are going to drop down to chile levels, upper 30s and low 40s. highs tomorrow a good 10 to 12 degrees below what's normal for early march. highs only in the low to mid 50s tuesday afternoon. very similar temperatures on wednesday. we do warm up a little bit as the atmospheric river takes aim at the bay area because it's tropical moisture so it does have some warm air associated with it but the price we pay is that flooding potential in the wind damage potential as well with some saturated soils around the bay area. a little bit of wind is going to be doing quite a bit of tree damage, so be prepared for sporadic power outages later on this week with the least lingering showers in the forecast as we head through the weekend into early next week, maybe even something a little heavier than that. we'll keep you updated. >>> time to check what's ahead at 6:00. switch over to julie goodrich. >> they were a lifeline for so many restaurants during the pandemic, but the rules are about to change for those park let's in san francisco
