california as a whole is broken. they're too many things that belong to the ballot. other measures that on the ballot that should be handled at city hallshould not be throwing at the voters. and then, one measure they are passing on the ballot, they have a rule in california, we're the only state in the country that does this come aware that measure can never ever be touched, not even moving one comma after 30 years without going back to the voters for another ballot measure. it is a completely rigid system that does not benefit anyone. it is bad government. prop e would basically balance that out a little bit by saying that for ordinances that are put on the ballot by the board or the mayor does not in any way affect signature drive ballot measures. or the mayor put an ordinance on the ballot that, for the first three years, it would be untouchable by the board. for the next four years, the board could amend the measure with a supermajority two-thirds vote. after seven years, the board could read the legislation like any other piece of legislation, subject to the legislative process that is how it is done in every other state that all

california and pacific medical center. that has dominated a lot of city-wide dialogue in the past few years. that project is slated to go forward or get through the entitlement process this year in city hall. if you are not familiar, we currently have a california campus and a pacific campus, and the plan is to build a bigger campus and consolidate those services into one larger hospital at the old cathedral hill spa on van ness, and that is going to have a huge impact, both in terms of the neighborhood in district 2, not only the new campus, but what happens to the pacific and california campus. also, is a huge job creator. we're making sure to do it in a way to we have every constituent buy into the project, create a ton of new jobs, and move forward with a health care system that benefits all of us. otherwise, some of the other issues coming up -- francisco reservoir in russian hill is going to be an issue that comes up. we have a huge project on doyle drive that is getting finished in the next couple of years. we need to make sure we wanted to the impacts. it is going to be a big deal. after leaving here, i am going down there with the mayor and the head of our department of transport

this low will begin to sag to the south and move out of town hall meeting but not before more rain today and moving into southern california. a chance of rain through tonight but the weekend looks good. we have some sunshine coming our way. computer models are pick up on the system as it rolls through again. nothing real heavy. we have seen about a third of an inch of rain in the santa cruz mountains and that's about the heaviest but toward tomorrow morning it looks like the skies begin to part just some partly cloudy skies, and guess what. we have some temperatures warming up for the weekend. numbers for today plan on about 58 degrees in pacifica. 64 santa rosa. next couple of days we have great weather coming our way temperatures going to be warming up through sunday. looks like come monday and tuesday, it looks really nice. we'll see beautiful weather under high pressure and maybe 70s making a return and then late next week the clouds come back in and we start to talk about the possibility of rain but this weekend looks good. a little wet around the bay area today. >> i don't really want to talk about monday right now.
