we know along the way the california highway patrol evacuated 40 people by helicopter including 30 veneervineyard workers. they were in town trying to get the grapes harvested. they were among the 40 that were saved by the california highway patrol. people ranging in age as well as dogs and cats. >> we were talking earlier about evacuations from kaiser hospital. people that were obviously in a delicate state. there were ambulances lined up and they were taking them to memorial hospital which is in santa rosa but in a safe spot. we were hearing women in labor and the fire -- >> they had to get people out of the hospitals because they were threatened by flames. they took six from each, kaiser permanente and sutter, six of those in greatest need of care to memorial. and then they left empty beds because they thought, we have to be prepared to welcome people. eminences lined up at memorial to go out and track the people who needed most. meanwhile people could be temporarily dismissed from the hospital to a safe place, that is what they did. >> we want to point out, this is called wine country
