the california highway patrol now disputing prices claims that the agency only sent 11 cases for prosecution. the chp says, though, they've made more than 500 arrests and they claim made sent all of them over to the da's office. chp says 72% of those cases have been accepted. but there's been no charges filed. they claim the remaining 28% have been processed. any action taken ranges from conviction to dismissal of the 500 arrests. chp says 41% are felonies and 59% for misdemeanors. latest dispute comes as the governor has been pushing ahead with adding more attorneys to prosecute crime in alameda county attorneys with the california national guard have reached an agreement with the state department of justice to handle the cases generated from arrests made by chp. another state law enforcement currently deployed in the east bay. the governor had offered the prosecutors to alameda county district attorney pamela pamela price, but pulled the offer 1, 5, months passed without an agreement reached. >> what gavin newsom is saying here is i'm going to take over the situation regardless of what pam
