i started out as an activist in california with a group called no oil, inc. in the pacific palisades. that is kind of how i started in this. what was hard for me was, even before the spill, the conversation of -- let's lift the moratorium that was in place for 25 years and let's open our coast to offshore oil drilling, are most sensitive areas. i know this is a sensitive conversation to have when so many people in louisiana depend on oil and a lot of people work for it. nevertheless, from my point of view, offshore oil drilling is way too risky for us to be doing and the rewards are way too little. for me, it was more of a reminder of that. i also like to weigh in that i am surprised by what i hear tonight and not because i doubt it. i did not know it. perception is such a large part of it. you think about oil addiction and you do not even want to go there. i would hate to say that i am so happy that this is true and i will be up there eating a great deal -- actors and free food, we will be anything.
