teachers at university of california-irvine and the author of the homecoming, which raised -- were the happiest people i know. this orphanage was a very happy place. they worked with his hands all the time. is a big advocate of orphanage, so he didn't have parents but he's a very happy person. i think if you have a negative, dysfunctional, terrible family with addiction or pain or abuse, it is hard to get started on the road. i don't think it's impossible because i have met many people who have recovered from that, recovered from other things, terrible things, i write about aa and the happiest life and how they've regained so many lives and that of the great good fortune to send a number of people to terrific sponsors who have guided into the program. but if you got happy parents, there is a very good chance you are going to be happy. very good. so i think that's the great distinction character. so parents are to remember that, kids are always watching every day, every day.
