i have admired so much your work on behalf of veterans with the california state university system particularly. as i've told you, you and chancellor reid are really models for individuals who are pushing hard to make available opportunities for veterans. and i was down at the marine corps recruit depot last friday for graduation of a boot camp class x it was the first time i've been back on that base since i finished boot camp in 1957. and like bucky, i had a drill instructor who surely would roll over in his grave if he knew i was the parade reviewing officer on the grinder down there. [laughter] and i would be very happy to see him roll over in his grave, as a matter of fact.
