caltran has not said when that highway will reopen. i want to check now with vianey arana, did you feel any shaking where you are? >> i sure did. i tweeted out a video within a few seconds of feeling it. this little guy started barking. interestingly enough, i did take a look at the distance wide where i am located which is in san jose verses where it happened. it is 2.5 hours away. my guess is i felt the sway of the earthquake based on the fact that i live in a taller building. a lot of the buildings in california are designed to sway with the motion of the earthquake. i did tweeted out and a lot of people retweeted saying the dog felt it. in 2019, i got to meet with a seismologist, the number one question is can dogs feel earthquake? the thing is no. they are sensitive to sound, they can feel it but it is already happening. nothing fell off so that's the good thing. it was a littleerve-racking once i started feeling the shake of the building. >> okay, good. we'll follow the story. a 5.9 earthquake at 3:50 near tahoe. just up in nevad
