caltrans has been doing a great job.in the california highway patrol and truckee, ghana, south lake child district three and district 10 now highway 50 close this morning in that burn area. they were just having a lot of loose rocks start to fall. i guess there's some hazard trees that crossed highway 50, so they had to close it this morning for about four hours to claire highway. 50 is going to be a challenge all winter long with the way the parador came over it. it hits here at trial. unfortunately sierra is not going to be able to get an early opening this year. john rice and their team have done an amazing job, but they got burned over so they're going to have to recover. i 80 they had some challenges there as well. old highway 40 up towards daughter passed that's closed due to a mudslide, so we got some challenging conditions right now. with these teams. they're well seasoned. we're getting ready to go. thanksgiving's around the corner, but it just feels good to have the fire's out. it seems mother nature come back

these streets are part of us highway 101 which is managed by caltrans of the project partnership of the district 4. other than a tiny little stretch in the hov lane leading to the bay bridge in the market, these lanes on city streets in california, this is a pilot project. it is authorized under our temporary emergency translator project so the evaluation is going to be conducted to gather with caltrans along with the hov lanes that must be struck soon on park city boulevard and the bypass which are also a part of state one in the richmond district and park. arche valuation criteria is to be asking the question do these lanes help the state highways move more people than the previous configuration? if they're stressful successful in moving more people on our state highway system that don't create unexpected unintended negative consequences, we will then move forward with a recommendation to make them permanent or if we find problems we maymake discussions along the way so the lanes are in effect from 5 am to 8 pm so all day long monday through friday . and they are very important parts
