you can see around calvert county and st. mary's. showers are drifting off to the west, hitting areas there like calvert beach and solomon's. once the sun sets about 8:30 or so, those showers are going to become less and less around the area. what we will have, though, is an easterly wind. still plenty of lingering moisture across the area. first thing tomorrow morning, we're likely to have some fog across the area that will be slowing us down. temperature right now at 75 degrees in baltimore. 78 degrees currently in d.c. 74 clinton. 76 degrees right now in fairfax and sterling. 72 in culpepper. and 75 degrees currently in winchester. that's the easterly wind, but still under this huge ridge of high pressure that's still keeping us plenty warm across the area. that ridge is just going to get stronger and as we go through the next coup of days. southern plains all the way to the north eastward. first thing early tomorrow morning with temperatures in foggy conditions. i'm going to give you the forecast panel probably during the next we

these are going to be coming over the bap glenn bernie, annapolis, also down towards calvert beach. high pressure to our north, low pressure to our south is combining to keep a cool and relatively moist easterly wind around here. that will keep clouds and the risk of fog. breaks of sunshine from time to time. another chance for a little fog, first thing on wednesday morning, but eventually that big bubble of warmer air out to our west is going to send a shot of toasty air our way. some spots might be up near 90 degrees before cooler weather begins by next week. i remain optimistic for the holiday weekend. patchy dense fog, first thing tomorrow morning. once it burns away we'll be left with a nice afternoon. warmer tomorrow, highs in the upper 70s. the all important seven-day forecast here. 78 tomorrow, but 88 degrees on wednesday. a slight chance for a shower for thursday and friday. and then here you go, everybody. there's the three days of your memorial day weekend. we did not have the mention of rain for anyone over three days. but nungs, so far, so good. >> we're locking it in.
