calvin sun. he works per diem, so he picks up shifts at hospitals across manhattan, wherever he's needed most and he's needed quite a bit. doctor, i talked to you last week for the first time, and the scenes you were describing inside the hospitals, horrific, intubating a nurse you worked with, doctors falling sick, families dying without their loved ones. what is it like today? is it worse, is it better? >> so the last couple of days it got actually worse in that we were discussing last week how patients, we would hear calls of patients going into cardiac arrest upstairs, then cardiac arrest in the emergency room, where they had been waiting up for 80 hours to a day and then die. thashts that look great one minute, and then they go into cardiac arrest because they're drowning. and in the waiting room, a few days ago i had to rescue a patient that went into cardiac arrest in the waiting room because they were waiting outside too long. that patient ultimately died. so that reality that's happening
