investigators say around 430 in the morning, an elderly man using a motorized scooter was crossing camden avenue near the intersection with branham lane. detectives say a woman driving a gray 2023 chevy trailblazer had a green light as she approached the intersection. the adult female driver struck an adult male that was outside of a crosswalk on electric scooter. unfortunately, the male was pronounced deceased on scene . the intersection in the shadow of the highway 85 overcrossing has three crosswalks, but not a fourth. it's similar in design to an intersection that had a deadly collision last wednesday . an infant was killed and its mother and sibling hurt when hit by the driver of a chevy tahoe at king road and havana avenue. in explaining the lack of a fourth crosswalk. the city's transportation department wrote back then the design standard back then in the 70s was to have one signal crosswalk if an additional crosswalk were to be added, we would need to increase the cycle length, which would cause delays. the intersection of branham is similar, but city transport officials say bran
