kron four's camila barco is joining us live now from santa cruz. she's been there all morning long. morning you guys. yeah. we're just learning that the fire has burned 83 acres and it is 10% contained. we're also learning that the power in that area is back on as you take a look at your screen. this is what firefighters have been battling all night. it's called stratify as you guys mentioned. and this is near hazel dell and hidden canyon road. it's northwest of watsonville in santa cruz. now it started almost 24 hours ago as cal fire was conducting a prescribed burn and like will said those flames jumped a containment line and spread now prescribed burns are common and they normally go as planned. however, the unity for the area says there was a mishap. >> 9 members of the time these things go off without a hitch. no problems get out of control jumper containment lines. reason we did this yesterday as we had prescription level good weather and met with them prescription. and it was an ideal situation for us to be able to get good consumption of the fuel and we just had this mishap.
