the woman's mother filed a missing person's report with campbell police. authorities were able to track the woman's cell phone to this area of mount hamilton road and authorities searching overnight ended up spotting her car overturned down this ravine. that was at 5:30 this morning. san jose fire department's urban search-and-rescue team along with the chp and sheriff's deputy sprang into action and climbed counsel to the 28-year-old victim and a helicopter was brought in. a medic rappelled down. it was getting windy for the helicopter so the firefighters started to clear a path through the brush in case they needed to carry her up the hill. in the end, it was safe for crews to hoist the woman up in the aircraft. >> highly trained group of individuals that can perform this type of rescue right here in san jose, i want to say the crews did an excellent job. >> reporter: she was rushed to regional medical center. authorities say she was conscious and talking, fortunate to have survived a treacherous fall. on mount hamilton, janine de la vega, ktvu channel 2

i'm tori campbell. we begin with breaking news. we're hearing that a fast-food restaurant in novato was evacuated when employees were overcome by fumes. it happened at a taco bell on 7th street near grant avenue around 10:15 this morning. authorities say three people were transported to the hospital with respiratory symptoms and a feeling of weakness. fire crews have determined the fumes were a mix of carbon monoxide and natural gas. they believe the heating and air-conditioning unit was malfunctioning. at last check, the restaurant was closed but the door was open, apparently, to air out the fumes. >>> an investigation is underway into the cause of a fire in vallejo that injured one person and heavily damaged a house. the fire started around 9:30 this morning at a house on luanne court of the when firefighters arrived, flames were coming from windows on the top floor. the house had been boarded up. neighbors say the owner had moved out and that squatters had been staying there. firefighters pulled one injured person mouth of the b
