campbell. uc regents meet ing is going on right now, where governor brown is expected to make a unique proposal to determine whether students should pay more in tuition. brian flores has more. >> reporter: if you recall from the last meeting back in november, it was hotly contested. you had students, you had governor brown as well as uc president janet napolitano talking about that 5% increase in tuition. well, today's meeting is also equally important because it would basically form a committee between the governor and napolitano to force them to hash out any differences they have in funding the uc system. this meeting is scheduled to take place after noon today. what it will be is a two-person committee with governor brown and napolitano again in it. back in november, you will recall both sides seemed to be talking back and forth. the governor voting no, the regents voting for it. governor browent wanted to form a committee to see if something other than a committee increase can be done to sustain the system. this committee is essentially that. some say it's a waste of time. some see it as a
