cantore, he likes to go to extremes. kind of like our weather.eally equal but opposite situation out there. that polar plunge for the midwest and the northeast highs zero to 20 degrees feeling more like negative 5 to negative 30. it's really chilly all the way from the midwest down through tennessee. bitter cold. whereas we're on the other side we've got this big ridge of high pressure taking that jet stream well into canada. for us that's really translating into much warmer than average weather which has really peaked over the weekend. we're going to start to lose some of that warmth as we head through the next couple of days. 63 in the tri-valley. these are your average highs for this time of the year. we'll go way past those highs. 74 degrees in the tri-valley later on today. 73 in san francisco. you have about 77 degrees out in wine country for your presidents day. so temperatures on average running about 10 to 15 degrees above normal for this time of year. that's going to change slightly as we head through the next couple of days. on shore f
