about an hour and a half after officer cantrell died, authorities found the suspect trying to run away from a house. police arrested and charged herschel jones. and in utah, a police officer is dead and authorities say a man shot them. police officers doug barney and john richie were responding to a car crash when they saw cory henderson and a woman walking away from the scene. authorities say as officer barney went up to them, the suspect shot him in the head and killed him. he ran away -- but then officers caught up and they started shooting back and forth. they killed henderson in the shootout. officer richie was hit by at least three bullets. he is in the hospital in stable condition. police are still trying to figure out why henderson started shooting. the woman he was with is still on the loose. police are investigating after an officer in saint louis shot and killed a man inside a fast food restaurant. authorities say last night, the suspect had just robbed the kentucky fried chicken. a witness flagged down a police sergeant and told him about the hold-up. when the officer went
