you see the snow now moving through canyon day. through the white mountains moving into new mexico through several minutes and into the next couple of hours. the rain in valley has ended and you see that rain now off to the southeast towards tucson. this is the broader perspective. i want to show you where this is going. the storm system, cold front continues to move off to the east. we'll be on the backside of it tomorrow. we'll be look for a slight chance for a few more snow showers a generally speaking across the higher terrain, maybe another half an inch to an inch in some locations. we won't be looking for a repeat of what we had this afternoon. in the valley a slight chance for maybe a light shower or two. a rain chances widespread rain is going to be out of here and start to clear things out as we get into your tuesday forecast. rain chances look overnight, keeping a model of the forecast through about 3:00 tomorrow, we'll bring the rain chances up here in the valley slightly. stay dry tomorrow. 10% chance of rain at 4:00. w

we're off of crow canyon road.f this major outage, 26,000 customers are without power right now. and we can also tell you that that stretch of crow canyon road here is also shut down as these repairs take place. we were told by the san ramon police department that this all began when a transformer blew in this area at about 7:30 this morning. and then after that, again, 26,000 customers lost power. that's a lot of people at homes and businesses impacted here by the situation. now, you can see what we have over here, you have the road closure there at el costa boulevard and row canyon road. so crow canyon road is shut down between el costa boulevard and camino ramon as pg&e crews try to get the power back on for folks in the area. we're waiting to hear what caused this outage. but it sounds like it could be at least another hour before they get this situation resolved. >> thank you, alex. >>> also new this morning, students at monte vista high school attended a assembly at the school in response to racist graffiti f

this happened around 5 oclock last night at black velvet canyon. metro has not released the extent of the man's injuries. underway, and officers say they will let us know as soon as they get an update. thousands of families in the south part of town are thankful to be waking up with their power on... after spending thanksgiving night in the dark-- thanks to a transformer that caught on fire. viewer charles villa-lobos took these videos of the n-v energy substation...near cactus and decatur. the company says the transformer shorted around 7... and caught fire. almost 10- thousand customers! families we spoke to tried to make the best of the situation, building campfires outside. ernest vilkin power out for hours "you get all the candles out and you can't sit around. kind of wind down and everybody wanted to leave because the parties over." firefighters had to wait to make sure all of the power was shut off at the substation, before they could put any water on the transformer fire. by around 11 last night-- everyone's pow we are following breaking ne

sky canyon, new development that is right near the kyle canyon turnout, 60 mile-per-hour gust, per hour. still blowing at.hulapai, a gust at 16 miles an hour. bopping and weaving. we don't expect any more gusts, northwest and southeast, augusta a couple of more gusts to 40 miles per hour certainly possible. outside, pahrump, less than 10, lake mead, 16 acknowledge are baby pioche also joining the club. before the front blew through, we had a very warm day, with a high of 78. tied the record high temperature today, that high of 78 easily we'll tack on another 100 dollars for the nevada center for homeless youth. no surprise, the dust and junk blowing around in the air pushed it into the moderate category. much cooler beyond that front, low 50s to get going, upper 50s at lunch time but find our way into the low 60s but barely. southern part of the veam, northwest part of town probably won't back off until tomorrow evening. that front having pushed away now as it moves away from us, winds will relax but in the meantime we'll still deal with them in the northwest. that swath of snow pushing
