and so to cape coast. a sunny and beautiful spot now, with palm trees and long sandy beaches. from the traffic and chaos of accra. and at its heart lies this imposing castle. this place looks beautiful on the outside, but inside it's got a dark history. it's estimated that in total, around 11 million people were taken from africa, bound for the americas. all along this coastline were forts, where men, women and children would be held in miserable conditions, before their dangerous journey. this was the largest of those forts. these days, it's a museum. so this was a male dungeon. yes, the men were separated from the women. this dungeon was designed for 1,000 people. they stayed here for about three months on average. occasionally they were let out to be fed, and also to crack stones with cannon balls. a few years ago, during restoration works, archaeologists took up and examined some of the materials on the floor. so they left a small portion of it here, to probably tell the rest of the story. so this is made up of faeces, blood, decomposed bodies, clothes, food, vomit, sweat,

may county, cape may out toward atlantic sit had i more showers, there as women, maybe few rumble every thunder. that precipitation, that area of thunderstorm activity moving off the coastsouth of dover, few light showers now fading out as they move toward the south jersey coastline, not too much happening just for the time being, but it will be maybe a little bit active, especially north of the city as we go through the morning hours, see by 9:00, allentown, reading, toward mount pocono light shower activity, back to south jersey still looking at the chance for maybe few light showers to move on through. once we get to the afternoon and the evening, again, just that cloud cover for us, but generally dry conditions to our saturday night. sunday, probably going to be our better of the two days this weekend. we will look for some more sunshine on sunday, maybe few high clouds still mixed in, but overall, dry day sunday, but then sunday night into monday, our next cold front comes on through, that will be bringing showers and maybe chances for thunderstorm as well. high of 68 degrees, cooler than it has been, again, mostly cloudy out there, as well. no real precipitation c
