it was given to an officer of the capitol police.that information didn't get down to the line officers. that there could be a threat to the capital but, with people armed, ready to come and enter the capitol. but but -- got to the line officers, through a misinterpretation of how they could use the secret information. in our review, we made recommendations about how they could better have links to. right now, all the capitol police have phones as a part of our recommendation, because they couldn't communicate that day. while they stood strong and prevented the insurrection from destroying our democracy, there were a lot of issues with security that we all saw laid out. and we highlighted that, and as a result of a recommendation to put fencing, retractable fencing, add more bomb sniffing dogs, a horse patrol for crowd control, as well as improving capitals -- improving cameras at the capitol. the house put a 2.5 billion dollar supplemental in, but that was turned back by senator lee. and it went in by as a 1.9. so, much of the recomm
