solstice, it arrived at 5:44 this morning and that is when the sun's direct rays are over the tropic of capricornhat means not as much daylight. the shortest day and longest night but little by little over the coming weeks we'll gain the daylight hours back. satellite 6 along with action radar showing us how the clouds have really filled in and they are mostly high, thin clouds but absecuring the sun through this. and a mix of sun and clouds, it will look similar for the rest of the afternoon and evening. winds are light at 9 miles per hour. we stay dry and not a bad day and temperature 40 degrees. 40 in allentown and 39 in reading and 42 in millville and 42 in atlantic city and 37 in trenton and we started off this morning in the 20s. everybody was below sfreezing and this is not a bad bounce back after a cold start to the day. you factor in the light wind from the west it feels chilly out here, it feels barely above freezing in philadelphia. 34 in trenton and 32 in reading and 36 in millville. so the wind is not playing a major factor just cutting down the temperature a bit. here is a look at y
