as always i think cardiff is spot on.here's this focus on the word patient and for our viewers out there that are simply looking to see whether this word is in or out, or position is it's out but they're missing a much larger story here. and i want to associate myself in cardiff's paper "the ft," they survey a bunch of people on the street and ask us what questions should be asked of janet yellen and bank of america asked exactly the right question, which is you have a couple fed pressidents out there saying we're not going to make the same mistakes we made in the last decade. meaning if the 10-year doesn't rise yufer we're going to act. over the next few years if the 10-year doesn't react, the fed might act which means a much stronger pace of tightening than almost anybody is talking about. >> that's really interesting. i don't really follow dan, so just thinking back through this for a second. the point is that if the fed raises rates, you know, short-term rates but the long end doesn't go anywhere, then what? >> think
