cardinal donald worrell is facing increased calls to step down. he led the pittsburgh diocese for 18 years and was implicated in the recent pennsylvania grand jury report. nicky batiste is following it. good morning. >> cardinal worrell met with 200 priests in his archdiocese yesterday in a letter he shared his intent to meet with the pope about his future. an expert we spoke with said a letter like this is highly unusual, but a resignation would be even more so. in a letter tuesday, cardinal donald wuerl said a decision on his future is essential so his archdiocese can move forward. a pennsylvania grand jury report released last month found more than 300 catholic priests sexually abused more than 1,000 children since 1947. wuerl presided over 32 accused priests during his 18 years at the pittsburgh diocese. among accusations against him, is that he reassigned and reinstated them. >> did you ever move priests, quietly? >> that wasn't our process. >> we spoke with wuerl the night before the report was released. >> do you you have plans to resign? >>
